"I always see people saying that they aren’t able to do mobile check in. I’ve only stayed at two Marriott hotels where I tried to do mobile check in ( both of them never been to before) and they both let me without having to go to the front desk which I was really happy about because I had lost my ID and didn’t know how I was going to check in. Also I think I only had about 20 nights at the time, I usually stay with my boyfriend because he’s titanium."

"I work front desk and it seems like management is really pushing to check IDs for any special rate. Personally im lazy and also don’t care that much to start a confrontation so I only verify govt rates and employee rates, but yes it is being enforced more harshly.
