"Hyatt's general corporate code thread documents verification experiences but no BNP Paribas-specific cases were found. The FlyerTalk consensus: "The hotel has the right to request support of your affiliation — typically a business card will suffice." BNP Paribas is a major European financial institution. Financial sector codes at Hyatt carry moderate-to-high scrutiny, especially in European markets where BNP has strong presence."

"We just have to book under our corporate rate in Concur regardless of rate. Example in Columbus, OH our 2 preferred properties are Hilton downtown and Hilton Polaris those rooms can be $400+ a night. If I book at the Hyatt House at $199-$225 also part of our general corporate rate off BAR it will tell me I’m out of compliance for not booking our preferred hotels even though they are more. I override this all the time but that’s how it works."

"I can understand wanting to maintain rate integrity, however, I find this to be a bit over the top. While I don't know the particulars of this rate, Louis Vuitton is a global company with employees presumably all over the world. How the hotel would have the resources to verify every employee seems a bit far fetched, especially with huge companies like IBM. Also, does this rate extend to all employees of Louis Vuitton or just traveling executives? I cannot imagine that they would be able to verify that Sally Sue (who likely does not even have a corporate ID) working at the South Park Mall store in Charlotte, NC is indeed an employee."
