"FlyerTalk directly documents Grand Hyatt Tokyo staff awareness: "Memo from WoH Concierge to GH Tokyo: Beware of guests using CS code without proper ID" — implying the property is actively watching for unauthorized Credit Suisse code use. A Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui guest received a pre-arrival email requesting verification, resolved only by replying from a CS corporate email. Financial-sector codes are the highest-risk Hyatt category. Credit Suisse (now UBS following 2023 acquisition) triggers additional suspicion because the acquiring company may no longer honor old CS codes."

"You can get the same corporate rates if you have the business card and join Hyatt Leverage. I do have an LLC, not sure if that matters though. No one in North America, Europe or Central Asia has ever asked for ID. I don't even have corporate ID, as I'm the only technical employee haha. People have said that in East Asia they do ask, but I haven't been there yet on a corporate rate. Chances in San Diego are about 1% they ask. Don't worry. They would accept just about any proof you have. Even if it's an email address."

"Stayed there June 2025 and they asked to see my badge. They didn’t really look at it to be honest- I work at a tech company where no company name is on it. I’m a globalist and find they just want to see badge as an ask vs actually verifying ID badge. Seems it is different for each person based on comments. I’ve never been asked to send an email from corp account. 🤯"
