"PAG (Procter & Gamble) appears on multiple Marriott code lists with notes that it "works well in Asia" and has "unprecedented coverage in the Ohio River Valley / Cincinnati." hotelcorporatecodes.com lists PAG at 10-16% discount, "⚠️ Sometimes" verification, Global scope. One long-time FlyerTalk member with 1,500+ Starwood/Marriott nights stated: "I have NEVER been asked to produce a company ID." But geographic exceptions apply — Asia checks more reliably, and Cincinnati-area properties near P&G HQ apply it professionally. Risk calibrated at Medium consistent with comparable global consumer-goods corporate codes."

"I mean, it depends on the size of the hotel. Having one person on night shift for a Fairfield isn’t uncommon. The better hotels have more people working at front desk even at night simply due to the size and brand. I’d however say though, if the property has been notified of the guest’s check in time in advance, and part of deal of getting into night shift is to check people in at unusual hours like that, then it certainly does not sound right to me that the front desk agent cannot have the meal earlier or later out of that many hours of the shift."

"I work as a consultant and frequently ask for and use my client's rates (at their insistence, since I will be billing them back). I have been asked for ID maybe one time in 15 since February, when it was announced in this forum that rates would be ID'ed."
