"IBM Taiwan's Hyatt code (52718) is specific to IBM's Taiwan operations. Hyatt Asia-Pacific properties enforce corporate code verification near 100% of the time per FlyerTalk community data. "Andaz Tokyo asked for badge, business card and email" — this pattern applies broadly across Asia-Pacific Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt. IBM Taiwan is a major presence in Taipei business travel; Grand Hyatt Taipei has been documented requiring corporate ID. IBM's standardized physical badges are well-recognized."

"I have a reservation in DC this weekend (11/14) and the LTO110 code showed up for it when I rechecked availability/rates. A call to GP customer service verified the rate and dropped the price 10% below what I'd previously booked. It does require a bit of clicking about on the site, but it's there. Under 'reservations', hit 'specials & packages', then the 'hyatt special offers' tab. The link to the LTO110 rate is the fourth one down."

"I believe it's depends on the hotel. Hyatt will not verify your job status, as long as you made the bookings. However hotel has right to check your badges if they wish. it is very unlikely to harm you, the worse they can do is request you to make full public rate payment. I stayed at Conrad Shenzhen last year with my friend. He kept using his old company's rate code to make Hilton hotel booking even though he has already left. The front desk asked him to verify but he couldn't, so we made full payment in the end, no drama."
