"Oracle (alt) code 77377 at Marriott represents a secondary Oracle code — but Oracle's primary Marriott code (ORA) is GDS-only and cannot be used for direct consumer booking, per multiple FlyerTalk threads. "Oracle even owns a Marriott property" and this relationship means Oracle rates are monitored closely. Any Oracle code being used for a non-employee direct booking is essentially unauthorized. Multiple FlyerTalk users have documented: "Oracle codes trigger a rate audit at luxury/full-service properties." High risk rating reflects Oracle's corporate travel policy enforcement."

"I dont even have a corporate ID or badge lol, i started my job remote and I’ve never even been to a corporate building yet despite having made five or six business trips in the last two months and never been asked to show proof i work for the company i work for. So im gonna place my bet on no, altho if you have a family with you they might question whether you’re actually on a business trip."

"I didn't say that it was a for sure thing where you wouldn't be asked for ID. I can't speak for every hotel as each hotel is independently owned and operated (thank the franchise model), but at our hotel, we do send prearrival emails to those who we suspect may have booked the rate program when they most likely do not work for that company. As I said, anyone can book that rate if they know the corporate code. People can even book our employee discount if they know the code. But it's up to the hotel to follow procedures at check-in to determine eligibility."
