"AT&T is among the companies with the best Marriott negotiated rates. In the US, I've never been asked to show corporate ID. In Asia and Europe, I've been asked for corporate ID every single time. Since some companies don't put their name on badges for security reasons, the business card route is often tried first and usually accepted."

"Bank One's Marriott code BOB may still exist in Marriott's GDS system following the 2004 acquisition by JPMorgan Chase. JPMorgan has a separate Marriott code (JPM). Legacy acquired-company codes are practically never verified as the hotel has no way to confirm employer identity for a company that no longer exists independently. Risk for legacy codes is negligible."
