Legg Mason was acquired by Franklin Templeton in 2020, meaning Legg Mason-branded employee credentials may no longer exist — similar to EDS/HP. Baltimore-based operations (where Legg Mason was headquartered) mean nearby Marriott properties may still have residual familiarity with the account. Finance-sector Medium calibration applies. The post-acquisition brand change adds uncertainty for hotels attempting to verify affiliation."

"I have been asked to show some proof couple of times. I normally show my corp id but credit card with employers name on it has worked, too. As would probably just showing my laptop with employer e-mail account or whatever. My impression has been they are happy with just about anything that proves I'm working for the company whose rate I use and why wouldn't they."

"I do security for a Marriott Hotel in Miami and when it comes to guests being disrespectful like cursing, and/or getting physical with employees or furniture, the front desk calls security.
