"FedEx Custom Critical (954288433) is an IHG code for FedEx's expedited shipping division. FedEx's general IHG code enforcement: IHG has escalated monitoring of FedEx codes in recent years, with InterContinental properties requesting employee ID. FedEx monitors hotel usage volume across business units — inflated usage in any unit could flag a code for review. Holiday Inn/Express tier: minimal enforcement. Crowne Plaza and InterContinental: moderate enforcement. One FlyerTalk user documented being charged rack rate at a Crowne Plaza after failing to show FedEx credentials."

"You are unlikely at Hilton/Ihg to be called for proof of the standard corporate "gold" rate with the standard 15% discount off flex. You may well get asked when gaining larger discounts or free breakfasts etc over and above 15%"

"Overall, I have been asked for proof of corporate id or business card especially when using negotiated rates at individual properties. Now at most of these places our company has deeply discounted rates that can be 50% off the BRG and may have last room guarantee too. For example, I have been asked at the Hilton KL, IC Strings Tokyo, IC Jakarta, IC Frankfurt, IC GS Hong Kong, CP Zurich to name just a few. From friends experiences the GH Singapore is also known to ask for proof if some of the quite low negotiated rates are used. Now usually, I was asked once and then it was done and only twice at the Hilton KL, but not all the time on every stay."
