"We just have to book under our corporate rate in Concur regardless of rate. Example in Columbus, OH our 2 preferred properties are Hilton downtown and Hilton Polaris those rooms can be $400+ a night. If I book at the Hyatt House at $199-$225 also part of our general corporate rate off BAR it will tell me I’m out of compliance for not booking our preferred hotels even though they are more. I override this all the time but that’s how it works."

"I would strongly advise the use of a corporate discount code that you are not entitled to. No doubt that IBM would receive a summary of all reservations made under their code and at what property, and no doubt lurkers on here would be well aware of unauthorised use. In essence it amounds to fraud and I would not want IBM or Hyatt's legal department against me."
